Someshwara Beach
If you come from Manglore to Karwar, you can reach Byndoor by 35 km from Kundapura. The left side from byndoor moves 2.5 km along the sea line and gets the Someshwara Beach.
It is a very popular tourist attraction. Attracts both domestic and foreign tourists. On the right side of the Someshwara Beach there is an Ottinene hill, which is always green, and the bottom of which is the sea waves continually striking rocky stones. As the ottinene hill appears to lie down in the ocean, the bigger rocks at the bottom seem to prevent sea wave. The Someshwara temple is located on the rocks below the hill. The beach is named after Someshwara Beach from this temple.
The beach continues from the front of Someshwara temple and continues till the Sumana river meets the sea. Tourists come to see the scenic beauty of the Sumana river reaches the sea. The Someshwara Beach is very serene, as well as scenic sunset viewing.
Here is the right time to visit morning and evening, once the sea water completely down, the seafront looks very beautiful.
